At Best Western Nyborg Strand we pride ourselves of being a responsible business and strive to incorporate in all our actions a concern and sense for the social and environmental aspects of our business.

We, here at BEST WESTERN Nyborg Strand, see it as continuous process and carefully considered choice to work with the social and environmental aspects relating to running a hotel. We wish to operate with a open sustainabilty policy and always strive to act or help in a responsible manner whenever possible.

It is our goal to emit as little carbon dioxide as possible and at the moment NYBORG STRAND is 100% carbon dioxide neutral in heating, just as we continuously reduce the amount of unsorted garbage per guest/stay. Furthermore we have reduced our water consumption by more than 10 % and our energy consumption have been reduced by more than 20 % in the last couple of years.

Our investments in environmental and energi improvements have furthermore resulted in the installation of a new, state of the art CTS computer controlled communication system regulating the warmth, energy and ventialtion. We are continuously installing energy saving LED lighting wherever possible and we have introduced nightly regulation/lowering of the tempareture and are recycling our cooling water/evaporator heat in our (DHW). Behind the scenes our sorting efforts means that the garbage fills less and less and overall our cleaning staff have made an continuing effort to reduce the use of environmentally harmfull cleaning products.

Responsibility not only applies to the environment and at Nyborg Strand we strive to make th ehotel accessibel to all and everyone - no matter the needs. That is why we are in a ongoing dialogue to meet the standards set forth by the Danish Accessability Association www.godadgang.dk who, based on the UN standard regulation on equal opportunities for the functional impaired, have help put their rights on the agenda in Denmark.
