René Schmidt

René Schmidt (b. 1968)

Inspired by the different grass species found in the surrounding landscape, René Schmidt created eight large columns that serve as visual landmarks and divide the car park into distinct sections. Cast in concrete, the columns change colour when it rains. Their appearance also changes throughout the year, depending on the height of the surrounding vegetation. 

The columns were donated to Nyborg Strand on 25 April 2018
